Who CUT actually suits
Cyprus University of Technology, in Limassol, is the Republic's public applied-sciences university. Where the University of Cyprus is a broad research institution, CUT is deliberately vocational in emphasis: engineering, health sciences, hotel and tourism management, agricultural sciences, and communication and multimedia.
It suits a master's applicant in one of those applied fields who wants a public fee. It suits an HSC applicant much less, for the same reason UCY does.

Do not judge language of instruction from the programme's English name on a listing site. Open the university's own programme page and confirm it.
What it is genuinely strong in
Electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and geomatics, nursing and rehabilitation sciences, hotel and tourism management, agricultural sciences and biotechnology, and communication and internet studies. The hotel and tourism programmes connect to a real local industry — Limassol is Cyprus's commercial and tourism centre — and that matters for internships in a way it would not elsewhere.

If you want a bachelor's in Cyprus, taught in English
Since the public universities largely do not offer one, the honest answer is that a bachelor's in English in Cyprus means a private institution at private fees. That is a legitimate option — the University of Nicosia is the largest of them — but it deserves to be priced against the alternatives rather than treated as the default.

The honest part
Three things a recruiter will not lead with.
First, the language. CUT is listed on aggregator sites next to English-medium private universities as though the two were interchangeable. They are not, at bachelor's level.
Second, nursing and the other health programmes are regulated. A Cypriot nursing or rehabilitation degree is a qualification, not a licence — practising in Cyprus, elsewhere in the EU, or in Bangladesh requires that country's own registration process, and in most of the EU the working language too. If nursing is your goal, read nursing in Europe before choosing a country.
Third, Limassol is expensive by Cypriot standards. It is the commercial capital, rents have risen sharply, and it costs meaningfully more than Nicosia — see the Limassol cost guide. The public fee saving can be partly eaten by the rent.
