Shakib Hasan: Visa approved - Italy

The names Madaripur and Shariatpur come up in almost every conversation about Italy — but usually attached to the so-called "game", the irregular and dangerous route. So when a son of Madaripur goes to Italy legally, for higher education, it stops being only a visa and becomes an example.

He is his father's only child. Getting here meant a hard decision, and he first arrived at our Dhaka office holding his mother's hand, having travelled from a distant village. There was uncertainty on both their faces and complete trust in us. We wanted to make the journey as easy as we could, so the processing was completed online rather than asking them to come to Dhaka again and again, and in line with our policy no original documents were held.

The real difficulty was the sponsor. His father has lived abroad for years, so the family naturally expected to show him. Our team analysed the profile and decided the mother had to be the sponsor instead — even though her financial documents were not well organised at the start. We prepared them to our guidance, and the file was processed successfully on a mother sponsor.

Alhamdulillah, we secured his confirm offer letter without TOLC or any difficult admission examination. He also received zero tuition — a full tuition waiver — together with a scholarship of EUR 7,000 a year, roughly BDT 10 lakh, and support with free accommodation, which will make life abroad considerably easier.

On 4 December 2025 he left for Italy. He was nervous standing at the airport; today he has started a new life in Cassino, not far from Rome, and walking that road alone is making him stronger and more self-reliant.

For anyone who thinks the name Madaripur can only mean one thing, this is the counter-example: with the right guidance and honest intent, Europe is reachable on the legal route.
