Italy: Legally, without brokers, job opportunities for around 10,000 Bangladeshis per year
An important piece of information has come to light for Bangladeshis interested in going to Italy. After a meeting with the Italian ambassador, State Minister Mir Shahe Alam said that about 10,000 workers from Bangladesh have the opportunity to legally go to Italy every year. This number can be up to about 12,000 including their families.
Currently, there are about 250,000 Bangladeshis living in Italy. A significant portion of them are from Shariatpur and Madaripur regions.
It has also been announced that awareness activities will be taken in Shariatpur, Madaripur and Faridpur to prevent the risk of going to Italy illegally by sea and the fraud of brokers.
In addition, discussions have been held between the two countries on language education and skill development.
It is important to remember one thing clearly—this is not an announcement of an automatic visa or 10,000 visas for everyone directly. Applications must be made through Italy's conventional legal employment system and government process.
- There must be a valid job offer
- Necessary documents must be submitted
- Government and authorized channels must be followed
- Under no circumstances can brokers or illegal sea routes be relied upon.
The dream of going to Italy can certainly be seen, but the path to fulfilling that dream must be based on legal, safe and accurate information. Be careful, stay away from brokers and verify all information from official sources before going abroad.
