Book the appointment the moment you have an acceptance letter. Slots at the embassies and visa centres serving Bangladesh are the hardest constraint in the entire process, and in peak season they can be weeks or months out. Students miss intakes because of the appointment queue far more often than because of the decision itself.

Complete the application form carefully and make sure it agrees with your documents. Names spelled exactly as in the passport, dates that match your transcripts, an address that matches your other paperwork. An inconsistency that looks trivial to you reads as carelessness — or worse — to an officer who has no other way to judge the file.

Health insurance covering the whole Schengen area, or the specific cover your destination requires, is a mandatory part of most files. Buy it before the appointment, not after, and check the coverage amount against the requirement rather than buying the cheapest policy available.

The interview is not a test of your English. It is a check that you are a genuine student who understands their own plan. Expect to be asked why this country, why this university, why this programme, who is paying, what your family does, and what you intend to do after graduating. Answer in your own words and consistently with what your file says. Rehearsed answers that contradict the documents are the fastest route to a refusal.
