Choose country & university

Choose a country by fit, not by feeling. Each country guide on this site sets out the real tuition range, the English requirement, the intakes, the work rules and the funding that exists — read two or three against your assessment result and pick the ones where you clear the bar comfortably. Committing to a single country early is the most common avoidable mistake: it removes every fallback you might have had.

Once the countries are settled, shortlist programmes using Safe / Target / Reach. A Safe choice is one where your results are clearly above the stated requirement and admission is close to certain. A Target is one where you meet the requirement as written. A Reach is competitive or depends on winning a scholarship. Keep at least one of each. Students who apply only to Reach programmes are the ones who end up with no offer at all.

Test every programme against four things before it goes on the list. Is it genuinely taught in English, confirmed on the university's own programme page? Does tuition plus living fit the budget you calculated in the previous stage? Do your results and English score actually meet the entry requirement? And what happens afterwards — what are the part-time work rules and the post-study stay rights in that country? A programme that fails any of the four is not a shortlist candidate.

The universities and scholarships shown below are a starting point for your own research, not a ranking. Programmes, intakes and fees change every year, so confirm anything you are relying on against the university's official page before you build a plan around it.
