Romania: consultancy service for Bangladeshi students
Public universities publish non-EU tuition of roughly €2,000–4,500 for non-medical degrees. A full year of it is paid before the visa, and the visa file is lodged abroad: New Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi or Bangkok.
We have not published a fee for this country on this site yet. Before you pay anything, ask us in writing what the fee is, when it falls due and what it covers.
The first consultation and profile assessment
An honest read of your results, your English position and your budget — which countries are realistic and which are not. This step is free, before any file is opened.
Country, university and programme shortlist
A shortlist built on your profile and the funding you could qualify for — not on which application is easiest for us.
Application and offer letter
Submitted to the right intake through the right portal, then followed through to the offer or admission letter.
Document preparation
Academic paperwork, translation, notarisation and attestation in the right order, plus help writing the Statement of Purpose and the CV.
Proof of funds and the visa file
Bank statements and financial documents assembled to the standard the embassy expects — using your own real funds.
Visa application and interview preparation
Appointment booking, form completion, and preparation against the questions your embassy actually asks.
Pre-departure and after you arrive
Guidance on tickets, insurance and accommodation, and an introduction to students already studying where you are going.

Work during study
Holders of a residence permit for studies can work without a work permit only on a part-time contract of no more than 6 hours a day (IGI). That income will not pay a year of tuition; treat it as a help with living costs.

Every country has its drawbacks. Better to know them now than after you have paid.
Where the file is lodged was read in a Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs press release of 8 December 2025, not on the Romanian embassy's own site, which does not open from Bangladesh: New Delhi, and now also Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi and Bangkok. The release names no further conditions, so check the current arrangement with the mission you choose before you book travel.
There is an honorary consulate in Dhaka (Cosmos Centre, 69/1 New Circular Road, Malibagh). It is not known to accept study visa applications.
An embassy notice asked for a bank statement in the applicant's own name showing the equivalent of USD 4,000, sent by the bank by email, with documents legalised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and said that MOI letters and Booking.com reservations were not accepted. We could not re-read that notice. Confirm each point with the embassy. The notice was New Delhi's; the other missions may ask differently.
Romanian press reports put the minimum gross salary at 4,325 lei a month from 1 July 2026. We did not find that figure on a government page, which is why this guide gives no euro amount for proof of funds.
The tuition ranges (€2,000–4,500, and €7,000–10,000 for medicine) are indicative, and the living cost of €425–965 a month is our estimate.
A year of tuition is paid before the visa decision, and a refused applicant does not always get all of it back. Each university sets its own refund rule.
Do not plan to pay tuition from part-time work. The visa file has to show that you can support yourself without it.
We have not published a consultancy fee for Romania yet. Ask for it in writing before you pay anything.

You can do this without us, and we have written down how, for free. If you read it and do it yourself, that is a fine outcome.
Shall we talk about this country?
The first consultation is free and opening a file is not a condition of it. We will start by telling you which country is realistic for you.
